RESEARCH PROJECT
Informality and Innovation: Building Post-Pandemic Resilient Communities in Morocco.
Navigating the city: exploring informal economy in urban Rabat.
I explore how different urban spaces regulate, enable, and shape informal economic practices, and how informal workers adapt to and transform these spatial dynamics. Grounded in a comparative study of two urban areas with contrasting levels of informal activity, I analyse how governance, gendered access, temporal rhythms (such as during Ramadan), and hybrid formal-informal economies interplay in the city.
