Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO)

FLACSO Ecuador is an international/public university of postgraduate level in social sciences that belong to the FLACSO System created by UNESCO´s General Meeting in 1956. The International FLACSO System includes campuses and academic programs in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

The Department of International Studies and Communication offers two of the most prestigious MA in IR in Latin America. The MA IR in Global Political Economy and the MA IE in Security and Conflict. The Department also has one of the few PhD programs in the region in International Studies and a staff of professors with a proven regional and international experience.
