Miria Gambardella (PhD Fellow)

Miria Gambardella holds a MA in Anthropology from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland) and is currently a PhD candidate of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain), a position funded by the MSCA Doctoral Networks. She also taught Cultural Anthropology at the University of Brescia (Italy). Her main areas of research are economic and political anthropology as well as anthropology of social movements. She's conducting her fieldwork in Mexico, focusing on informal and ethical economies and international solidarity with Zapatista indigenous communities through coffee fair trade.
