Dr Willem Geelhoed
Dr Willem Geelhoed is Associate Professor at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology in the University of Groningen and a part-time judge in the Leeuwarden Court of Appeal. He holds a PhD in Law from Leiden University, with a thesis on the EU's influence on the scope for prosecutorial decision-making. His research interests include the Europeanisation of criminal law and criminal procedure, serious and organised crime, and international cooperation in criminal matters.
