Benjamin Cisagara (PhD Fellow)

Benjamin Bisimwa Cisagara is currently a Research Assistant and Ph.D. student at the University of Latvia in the Department of Economics, Business, and Management, working under the PRESILIENT project on innovation and informality in Kenya. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from the "Université Catholique de Bukavu" in DR Congo and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Freiburg in Germany. His research interests lie in the intersection of finance and development economics. Specifically, he focuses on exploring inquiries related to informal finance and financial inclusion, climate finance, and education.
