João is currently a PhD student affiliated with DIAL (Paris-Dauphine / IRD). Holding a Master's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, his research interests revolve around labor markets, public policies, and causal inference. Moreover, he has been working as a researcher and data analyst in Brazil, having contributed to projects with Fiocruz and Getúlio Vargas Foundation.
